Center for Middle Eastern Studies
The Center for Middle Eastern Studies serves as the coordinating body and the primary source of additional support for Harvard's various academic programs that cover the vast region from Morocco and North Africa to Turkey and Iran. The Center offers lectures, seminars, and scholarly conferences, supports and administers a monograph series, and serves a a center for scholarly interchange in New England. It also hosts several research projects and a small reference collection.

Outreach Program
Harvard has been designated by the US Department of Education as a National Resource Center for Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies. As an NRC, Harvard receives funds to promote the study of these regions in high schools
and colleges around the country. Administratively based at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, the NRC organizes teacher training workshops and numerous outreach events for the general public.
