Finding Aid -- When I checked (Sept. 2002) there was no hard copy finding aid on the shelves in the Lamont basement. Reel One of the collection (held in the microfilm cage in the Lamont basement) contains the opisi. The perlustrated letters are mostly identified by date, with no indication of the name of the writer or addressee, which makes the opisi much less helpful than they might have been otherwise.

Contents -- Letters to and from suspected revolutionaries intercepted and copied by the Fifth Department of the Special Section of the Department of Police in the Russian Empire.
