Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies

The Davis Center Conference on “Citizenship, Nationality, and the State in Russian and Soviet History” will take place March 26-28, 2004 at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. We hope that you will consider attending what promises to be an interesting weekend.

The conference will open with a reception at the Davis Center, from 7-9pm on March 26. Sessions will start in the morning on Saturday, March 27, and conclude early afternoon on Sunday, March 28. For a complete schedule, click on the link below.

According to the format of the conference, each author will introduce his/her paper in about five minutes, leaving nearly the entire time allotted for discussion of the paper. Attendees are therefore strongly encouraged to read the papers ahead of time. You are welcome to come to selected papers or to the whole conference.
