Undergraduate Student Support
Undergraduate students may now pursue a Secondary Field in Regional Studies: Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia.
The Sakharov Program on Human Rights offers fully-funded internships for qualified Harvard students seeking to work for six to ten weeks in an organization in Russia, Eastern Europe, or Central Asia, whose activities contribute to the field of human rights, broadly defined.
We offer Goldman
Undergraduate Research Travel Grants to students at Harvard,
Wellesley, and Wheaton colleges writing senior theses on a topic
in Russian or Eurasian studies.
We also offer Goldman Undergraduate Internship Grants to Harvard students
seeking internships in Russia, Eastern Europe,
or Central Asia.
Each spring we host an Undergraduate Colloquium on
Russian and Eurasian Studies, where seniors from Harvard,
Wellesley, and Wheaton colleges present their thesis work. View
program for the most recent Colloquium.
