Adam James is a Eurasian Foreign Area Officer currently serving in the U.S. Army. He is a graduate of the Political Science department of the University of Wisconsin-Madison and holds a Masters of Public Administration from the University of Southern California. He is also a proud graduate of the Russian Basic Course at the Defense Language Institute. Adam has completed assignments at the tactical, operational, and strategic level, serving in the United States, Iraq, and Ukraine. His most recent assignments have been at the U.S. Embassy in Ukraine and in the International Affairs directorate on the Army Staff. His research interests include developments in Russian military thought and political-military developments in former Soviet states.
