Mercedes Sapuppo

Mercedes is a Senior at Harvard College concentrating in Social Studies with a focus on democracy and security in Central and Eastern Europe. She is a Research Assistant with the Negotiation Task Force at the Davis Center. Her main academic interests include press freedom, U.S. Foreign Policy in Eastern Europe, and the Women, Peace, and Security agenda. Outside the NTF, Mercedes has been a Research Assistant with the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at Harvard, and she has worked with the U.S. House of Representatives Subcommittee on Europe, the Atlantic Council, and the Democracy and Culture Foundation. She is also a dancer, and is the Historian of the Harvard Ballet Company.
