Michael Martin Richter is a research fellow and PhD scholar at the Research Centre for East European Studies at the University of Bremen within the EU ITN MARKETS framework. His work focuses on Western democracy promotion in Eastern Europe, particularly in Ukraine. Previously, he graduated in the political economy field from the College of Europe, the Higher School of Economics (HSE), the University College in London (UCL), the ESB Business School, and the Jagiellonian University. Moreover, he collected professional experience at the Foreign Investors Council of Latvia, the SWP, the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, the Polish Embassy in Moscow, and PwC.
