Piotr Majda is a Ph.D. candidate at University College London's School of Slavonic and East European Studies (UCL SSEES), where he is researching methods of power-networks identification in Russia through analyzing public procurement and private/public connections. He is under the supervision of Professor Alena Ledeneva and Professor Eric Gordy. Prior to his Ph.D. work, Piotr graduated from UCL and HSE Moscow's dual-degree program. He is a member of the MSCA-ITN MARKETS project, where he is tackling the topic of informality from the perspective of informal governance and networks. His professional experience includes working with Transparency International - Russia, ESMA, UNIDO-ITPO, and private banking (BBH).
