Roy Ginsberg is a fifth-year PhD student in the Department of Slavic Languages and Literatures at Harvard University. His research focuses on 20th century avant-garde movements across Eastern Europe and Jewish identities in the late-Russian Empire and Soviet Union. He is currently writing his dissertation on the aesthetic and ideological trends among members of the Eastern-European Yiddish Avant-Garde from WWI until Stalinism (1914-27).
