Tetyana Dzyadevych is currently working on her first monograph Voices of Political Revival: Post-Soviet Literature of Russia and Ukraine. Her area of interest is Russian and Ukrainian literature, as well as 20-21st c. visual and performing arts. Her work primarily focuses on works of the late Soviet period, perestroika, and post-Soviet period. She studies cultural production to explore and explain how art and literature both shape and reflect the political identities of their audiences. As a researcher and interpreter, Dzyadevych is interested in the epistemological significance of literary works, culture, and political subjectivity. She graduated from Kyiv-Mohyla Academy in Ukraine, and holds a Ph.D. in Slavic Studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
