Negotiate the Future of Georgia: Virtual Event

Workshop
Event Format
Online

Georgia, a post-Soviet country long mired in regional conflict, stands at a critical juncture of its development. The fate of Georgia's political, security, and humanitarian situations are still in question after twelve years of unsuccessful talks. However, there is still hope for lasting peace and stability in Georgia. In this exercise, you will take the role of U.S., Russian, Georgian, international, and separatist negotiators and mediators convening in Geneva to determine the future of Georgia once and for all.

During this event you will be working on an exercise set that will allow you to engage with other negotiators through Zoom videoconferencing. You will have opportunity to "move" throughout our virtual space and breaks will be provided. The event will include both negotiations and a debrief.

Spots are limited. Registration required.

Please fill out the registration form by Thursday, March 25th for consideration. All those who complete this registration will be sent an email to notify them of whether they are admitted by Friday, March 26th.
