The “Improbable” Fiona Hill

Book Talk
Event Format
Online

Join us for a conversation with Fiona Hill about her deeply personal new book, There Is Nothing for You Here. Hill is known by many as a leading Russia expert and formidable presence in the 2019 impeachment hearings of President Trump. In her new book, she explains the ways coming from a hard-scrabble coal mining community in the UK has made her painfully sensitive to growing disparities in the United States, and her fears that we may be heading for Russian-style politics. Her story is one not only of personal triumph, but also of deep-seated concern for the fate of her adopted country.
