Catherine Mannick is a former international lawyer with 20 years of experience representing U.S. businesses in the former Soviet Union. She is currently president of the Icon Museum and Study Center in Clinton, Massachusetts, and serves on the boards of the Finlandia Foundation and Beacon Hill Seminars, a Boston-based institute for life-long learning, where she teaches courses on Russian history and cinema. 

Catherine holds a B.A. in Russian studies from Yale University, an M.A. in history from Harvard University, and a J.D. from Harvard Law School, and has studied law as a postgraduate at Moscow State University.
