Daniel Stoian

Daniel Stoian is a career diplomat who has served under four administrations, supporting seven secretaries of state. He has served in Saudi Arabia, Rwanda, Tunisia, and Bahrain. In Washington D.C., he worked in the Operations Center and as special assistant to the undersecretary for management, chief of staff to the deputy secretary of state for management and resources, and as deputy assistant secretary for legislative affairs. He is currently the director of management strategy and solutions for the State Department.  Prior to government service, he worked in management consulting and also helped launch AdventureGear.com and EmailLabs. He received his master’s degree in public administration at Harvard University and completed his undergraduate work at the University of California, Davis.
