Daria Savchenko is a doctoral student in social anthropology. Daria is exploring the concepts of robots, robotic bodies, and the robotic fantastic in relation to scientific imagination, nation building, and human selves. Willing to move beyond the concept of the uncanny of the robotic, Daria wants to employ multimedia to discover and produce new meanings and understandings of the robots, both in everyday encounters and within less visible grids of power and knowledge production.
