Areas of Expertise

Ia Tserodze earned her Master of Arts in Regional Studies—Russia, Eastern Europe, and Central Asia from the Davis Center’s REECA Program in 2020. During her time at Harvard, she participated in the Kennedy School’s Oval Office Program—a year-long, hands-on campaign-training initiative designed for women aspiring to run for office. She then advanced her career in anti-money laundering and anti-bribery and corruption advisory roles at consulting firms Kroll and K2 Integrity in Washington, D.C.

Since 2021, Ia has worked at the World Bank Group in Washington, DC, and Brussels as a staff member in Group Internal Audit, where she conducts enterprise risk analysis in countries impacted by fragility, conflict, and violence. Originally from Tbilisi, Georgia, Ia began her career on Eastern Europe-focused teams at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) and the National Democratic Institute (NDI).

She graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in creative writing from DePauw University and the University of Oxford and is a Forbes Georgia 30 Under 30 honoree.
