2025-2026 Undergraduate Engagement Opportunities

Student Research Group

Are you an undergraduate student at Harvard University? Do you have an interest in the region encompassing Russia, Eurasia, and Eastern Europe? If so, we invite you to join the Davis Center Student Research Group! Starting in January 2026, the group will meet once per month to share region-related research and ideas at any stage, exchange feedback, and connect across common interests. We aim to provide an informal and supportive space for undergraduate and graduate students across disciplines. Our tentative meeting dates for the Spring semester are:

  • Jan. 30
  • Feb. 27
  • March 25
  • April 17

Meetings will be held over lunch from 12:00–1:00 p.m. in the CGIS South Building. Note: Dates/times may be adjusted based on participant availability. Please complete the registration form by Jan. 10.

The Eurasian, Russian, and Eastern European Trivia Fun

Save the date for our Spring Semester Trivia Fun—Feb. 4, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. We will have Russian- and Eurasian-themed trivia to test our knowledge of regional history, geography, culture, and popular media. Join us to relax, connect, have fun, and celebrate the region’s rich cultural heritage. Food will be provided! Please register below to attend.

Undergraduate Colloquium

Each year, we invite undergraduate students to submit proposals to present their research at our spring Undergraduate Colloquium. Please visit our Undergraduate Colloquium page in early spring for details about this year’s competition.
