Grants

Spend your summer immersed in the history, politics, society, culture, or language of our world region with funding from the Davis Center.

The Davis Center invites Harvard undergraduates to apply for research, internship, and language study grants. Please note that all Harvard-funded travel must comply with the university's most recent travel policy and with the summer funding policy of the Office of Undergraduate Education. The application deadline for all opportunities listed below is Feb. 10, 2026, 11:59 p.m. EST.

Eligibility for all grants: Open to Harvard College students in good standing except graduating seniors.

Goldman Undergraduate Research Grants

Goldman Grants of up to $6,000 support independent research in our world region. Preference given to rising seniors pursuing thesis research in the social sciences and humanities. Apply on CARAT

Goldman Internship Grants

If you have arranged your own independent internship in the region, you may apply for a Goldman Internship Grant to help offset your expenses. Priority will be given to internships in nonprofits and public service.
