Lisbeth Tarlow is the former associate director of the Davis Center. Since 2012, she has been committed full-time to service in the non-profit sector, focusing on higher education and the arts. She currently sits on the boards of Tufts University, the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, the American Repertory Theater at Harvard, and the Thich Nhat Hanh Center for Mindfulness in Public Health at Harvard’s T.C. Chan School of Public Health. Previous service includes the boards of The Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts, the Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis, and MassHumanities. She was the 2019 recipient of the Anti-Defamation League’s Woman of Valor Award. She received her B.A. from Smith College, her master's from the Soviet Union Program of Harvard's Russian Research Center, as the Davis Center used to be known, and a Ph.D. in international relations from The Fletcher School.
