Strategy and Operations Manager, Google

Nicole Carter (Harvard A.B., 2013) is an operations program manager at Google, where she works in Trust & Safety for YouTube. She has previously worked as a project management consultant at the U.N. Office for Project Services (UNOPS) on peacekeeping operations, including landmine removal projects, and at the White House within the National Economic Council. She spent 2014–2015 in Moscow as a research associate at the Higher School of Economics.

As an undergraduate, Nicole concentrated in social studies with a secondary in Russian. She was actively involved with the Davis Center, studying abroad in St. Petersburg and Moscow and winning a Goldman Undergraduate Research Grant in support of her honors senior thesis. Under Prof. Timothy Colton's research supervision, Nicole conducted 40+ interviews with displaced Chechens in Moscow while volunteering at a Russian refugee assistance organization.

Nicole holds an MBA from Wharton and an M.A. in international studies from the University of Pennsylvania, with a focus on European and Russian affairs.
