Pavel Raifeld (Harvard B.A., 2003) has served as chief executive officer of Innoviva (Nasdaq: INVA) since 2020. Prior to that, Pavel was on the investment team at Sarissa Capital Management LP, an investment management firm focused on improving strategies of companies to enhance shareholder value. He also worked as a healthcare investment banker at Credit Suisse in New York, as well as a management consultant at McKinsey in New York and the Boston Consulting Group in Moscow. Pavel earned an M.B.A. from Columbia University; he is a CFA charterholder. Pavel is passionate about education, international relations, tennis, and travel.
