Sarah will be an Acting Assistant Professor in the government department for three years. Currently, Sarah is an assistant professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She received her PhD from Princeton University’s Department of Politics. Her research focuses on the internal and external politics of authoritarian countries, with a regional focus on post-Soviet Central Asia. She focuses especially on international resource management, and political protest.
