Valeria Solomonoff (she/her) has choreographed for Broadway, films, plays, circus, as well as her own productions. Born in Argentina, Valeria was the founder and co-director of TangoMujer, the first all-female tango ensemble worldwide. Alongside her choreographic and dramaturgical practice, she is currently on faculty at NYU Tisch’s New Studio on Broadway and The Juilliard School. Most recently, Valeria received the inaugural Lucy Bowen Award for Inclusive Choreography to create a new work The Dance for Parkinson’s Program at The Mark Morris Dance Center. Valeria has collaborated with Dr. Vidrin since 2017 through projects at the NYU Center for Ballet and the Arts, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, Windhover Performing Arts Center, and the Dance Gallery Festival, among others.
