There is a severe war in Ukraine, and its repercussions are unprecedented. Great power competition between the West and China is unfolding. In the meantime, Kazakhstan experienced a tragic turmoil in January 2022 that resulted in the shake-up of the country and the acceleration of political and economic reforms. Join us for a conversation with Kazakhstan's Ambassador to the U.S., Yerzhan Ashikbayev, to discuss the challenges and opportunities facing the country and the future of the Kazakh-U.S. strategic partnership.
