It takes both creativity and discipline to move through the four phases of digital scholarship: the acquisition, manipulation, analysis, and presentation of data. But to do it well, collaboration is essential. This is a shared workspace for practitioners from all disciplines.

We will meet each Thursday through the 2021-2022 academic year and will devote the first session of every month to a collaborative project examining the past and present of the forest. You are welcome to join the studio community at any point. Read a full description of our goals & agenda here. Then, click the "Join the community" button above to fill out the form. To join on a given Thursday, fill out the form by Tuesday. You will receive additional information and a Zoom link.

Upcoming Sessions

  • November 4: Forest Project (goals & agenda)
  • November 11: What is at stake in the production of data?
  • November 18: What does "good" digital scholarship look like?
  • November 25: No meeting (University holiday)
