Since August 2021, Taliban policies have dramatically restricted educational access in Afghanistan, particularly for women and girls. Beyond its human cost, these restrictions threaten the country's economic development, governance capacity, and long-term stability. This event brings together frontline reporting and academic analysis to examine these changes. At a time when Afghanistan risks fading from global focus, this conversation highlights the broader implications of education restrictions for the country's future.
