The Black Sea changes shape and contour when seen through the lenses of literature and cartography. This new physical exhibit draws on the work of poets, novelists, painters, and mapmakers from across the centuries and across the region, from Ukraine, Romania, Turkey, and Georgia. The associated research platform allows users to examine the conceptual connections that link this broad corpus to the sea. The event will include brief introductions by project creators, and plenty of time to explore.
Come be introduced to both and savor a moment to contemplate your own relationship with the sea.
