This special seminar is in memory of Priscilla Johnson McMillan, a long-time associate of Harvard's Russian Research Center (now the Davis Center), who died at age 92 in July 2021. Priscilla was a diligent and perspicacious researcher who published several books. The seminar participants will discuss topics that were of particular interest to her: Soviet (and later Russian) politics, Soviet cultural affairs, nuclear weapons, government secrecy and declassification, U.S. national security policy, and the assassination of John F. Kennedy (the topic of an award-winning book by Priscilla). For more information about Priscilla, please see this obituary by Mark Kramer from last July.
