The Visiting Scholars Program and Postdoctoral Fellowship Program invite you to join for the Davis Center's first public Visiting Scholar Seminar. The goal of these biweekly seminars is to provide an informal setting for our scholars to share the progress on whatever project they are working on, and to receive feedback from or generate discussion amongst the community.
For this seminar, postdoctoral fellow Mollie Arbuthnot and Fulbright scholar Mārtiņš Kaprāns will present on their research projects, A Building Containing the Universe: The Materiality of Heritage and Atheism in Soviet Tashkent (1950s-1970s) and Silence or Voice? Explaining the Hesitancy of Baltic Russophones Toward Russia's Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine, respectively.
If you would like to attend their talks, please make sure to register.
