This year is poised to bring significant changes to the war in Ukraine. While deadly battles continue across the front line, there is a sense of political movement. Trump is trying to force Putin into to the table. Putin has expressed a readiness to talk—with the US. Zelensky has impressed Trump with his willingness to negotiate a peace, but there is uneasiness in Kyiv over what the terms might look like. Meanwhile, Ukrainian society is exhausted and ready for peace, though not at any cost. Join two leaders from the Kyiv School of Economics for a discussion of the state of play in Kyiv, and their thoughts on what 2025 may bring.
