Georgian Studies Research Exchange Program

The Program on Georgian Studies is seeking applicants for an upcoming webinar series, promising important networking opportunities and the ability for students to present their original research.

Georgian Studies Research Exchange Program

The Program on Georgian Studies at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University is looking for student applicants to participate in an upcoming webinar series! The series will consist of five webinars that explore topics such as Georgian politics, history, arts and culture. Participants will be given an opportunity to present their original research as well as network with other scholars of the region. The goal of the program is to foster more dialogue between US-based and Georgian students, promote academic exchange of ideas, and foster research collaboration.

The research exchange program gives participants the opportunities to hear from guest speakers, network with other scholars, and to gain experience with presenting research. The sessions will also be tailored to our participants' unique interests. In your cover letter, please indicate how your research relates to Georgia in under 350 words.

Students who participate in over 80% of the webinar series (at least four of the five sessions) will receive a certificate of completion from the Program on Georgian Studies. The webinars will take place monthly from January-May of 2025.
