We are therefore suspending the Davis Center’s relationships with the Russian institutions of higher education whose leadership signed a public letter supporting the war. We understand and regret that individual academics will be hurt by this decision, and we will try to find ways to collaborate with individual scholars as we monitor the situation. We fervently hope for a swift and peaceful resolution of the war, which we unequivocally condemn.
