Anna Diaconu is a student at Harvard Law School whose interests include democratic backsliding, authoritarianism, refugee law, and comparative constitutionalism. She graduated from Bowdoin College with a double major in Latin American, Caribbean, and Latinx Studies and Government and Legal Studies. Following graduation, she worked at the EuroEd Foundation in Romania and the Hungarian Helsinki Committee. Her forthcoming research examines the appointment and removal of judges in Hungary, Poland, and the United States.
