Boriana Nikolova has a Ph.D. in Political Science from the University of Chicago. She was a Pre-doctoral/Post-doctoral Fellow and a Lecturer in Political Science at the University of Wisconsin, Madison since 2012. She has been an Associate of the Davis Center since 2020 and a Teaching Fellow at Harvard since the fall of 2023. The title of Boriana’s most current research project is “What is Democracy: The Gap Between Popular and Academic Definitions.”
