Cristina Modreanu is a theater critic, curator, and professor at the University of the Arts in Târgu-Mureș, Romania. Holding a PhD in theater studies from the National University of Theater and Film in Bucharest, she is a Fulbright Scholar alumna and the author of seven books on Romanian theater, Romanian Communism, and Romanian state security surveillance.
