Dmitriy Nurullayev is an associate professor of practice in the School of Government and Public Policy at the University of Arizona and was a visiting scholar at the Davis Center in summer 2023. Before joining the faculty at the University of Arizona, Dmitriy was a postdoctoral scholar at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. At the Davis Center in summer 2023, he started work on a book project considering the dynamics between relative state capacity and military outcomes in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine. He continued this work as a Visiting Scholar in summer 2024.
