Dmitriy Nurullayev is an assistant professor of government in the College of Applied Science and Technology at the University of Arizona and was a visiting scholar at the Davis Center in summer 2023. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Arizona, Dmitriy was a postdoctoral scholar at the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy at Tufts University. At the Davis Center in summer 2023, he started work on a book project considering the dynamics between relative state capacity and military outcomes in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine.
