Dmitry Yakushkin is a Russian journalist, political analyst, and researcher specializing in public relations, corporate communications, and modern Russian, U.S., and French history. He started his career as a journalist focusing on international politics. After working for 20 years in print and television journalism, he managed public relations projects in the corporate and public sectors. From 1998 to 2000 he worked as press-secretary for Russian President Boris Yeltsin. After leaving the public sphere, he went on to oversee public relations projects in the corporate sector, with a particular focus on investor relations for major public companies. He has remained actively engaged in teaching and delivering lectures at business schools and leading universities. He speaks fluent English and French.
