Giorgi Khvedeliani

Giorgi Khvedeliani is a Fellow at the Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University, where his research examines wartime diplomacy and negotiation. A scholar-practitioner, he has built a career spanning academia, politics, and civil society in Georgia. He is the founder of GAMZIRI, a civic movement that grew into a widely viewed platform, and has served as a political analyst for major Georgian broadcasters, a party official, and a civic leader engaging policymakers in Brussels and Washington on Georgia’s behalf. He has held administrative and academic positions at Ilia State University and the Georgian Institute of Public Affairs; he taught Introduction to Modern Thought and coordinated multiple international academic cooperation projects. He is a Ph.D. candidate in International Relations at Sorbonne University and holds an M.A. in Global Studies from the University of Vienna and Leipzig University, as well as a B.A. and M.A. in Philosophy from Ilia State University.
