Areas of Expertise

Kate joined the Davis Center in August 2022. At the Davis Center, she provides administrative support to the Visiting Scholar Program, Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, Center Associates Program, the Graduate Student Associates Program.

Before the Davis Center, Kate completed her M.A. in Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies at Georgetown University, as well as a graduate certificate in Latin American Studies, in May 2022. Her capstone project focused on Russia’s long-term strategy in Latin America through soft power means. Prior to her graduate work, she completed internships at the American Foreign Policy Council and with our own Cold War Studies Project, where she provided editorial assistance on project manuscripts and designed and edited the project’s website. She holds a B.A. in Russian and Eurasian Studies and Latin American Studies from Mount Holyoke College and completed a semester abroad at St. Petersburg State University.
