Lyaziza is currently involved in analytical work and in knowledge management in ADB's Central and West Asia Regional Department, and has led the work on ADB's latest Country Partnership Strategy for Armenia. Since joining ADB in 2000, Lyaziza has worked on infrastructure projects in the People’s Republic of China, Central Asian and South Caucasus countries. From 2008–2011, she was on special leave to co-found the RAKURS Center for Economic Analysis, an independent economic think tank in Kazakhstan.
