Dr. Māris Andžāns was a Davis Center visiting scholar in spring 2024, when he was director of the Center for Geopolitical Studies Riga and an associate professor at Riga Stradins University. Formerly, Dr. Andžāns had been a fellow at the Academy of International Affairs NRW in Bonn, Germany, a visiting Fulbright scholar at the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies, and a vice rector of Vidzeme University of Applied Sciences.
