Natasha Yefimova-Trilling leads the development of the Davis Center's communications strategy. She is an editor, writer, researcher and Russian-to-English translator with more than a decade of journalism experience, most of it in the former Soviet Union. Since the 1990s, she has worked for The Moscow Times, L.A. Times, New York Times and BBC, among others, and directed communications for the now shuttered Carnegie Moscow Center. Before joining the Davis Center in 2023, Natasha edited the Harvard-based Russia Matters website from its launch in 2016. She holds degrees in journalism and Russian from Columbia University. Born in Leningrad and raised in America, she hails from a family of writers, theater lovers, and Siege survivors.
