Nodira Amanova is an Associate Professor at Uzbekistan's Botir Zokirov National Institute of Estrada Art (affiliated with the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan) and at the Center for Musical Education Pedagogy. She is the author of a monograph, educational materials for music instruction, over thirty articles on the history of popular music (Estrada), and a dissertation on the national characteristics of Uzbek popular music (Estrada). She is also a member of the academic seminar at the State Conservatory of Uzbekistan.
