Peter Jones

Guest Speaker

Peter Jones is a third-year A.B. candidate at Harvard College, studying government with a secondary field in Spanish language and literature. He is especially interested in NATO and European security policy, international recognition of separatist movements, and media freedom.

In summer 2023 Peter interned at the Georgian Institute of Politics in Tbilisi. Currently, he works as a remote intern for USAID's Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Governance, and serves as a research assistant to Harvard Kennedy School professor Richard Zeckhauser. His writing has appeared in The Harvard Crimson, The Cook Political Report, and other outlets, and has been mentioned by The New York Times, CNBC, and national television in Kosovo. Formerly, Peter worked for The Cook Political Report and led an undergraduate research team on economic sanction policy for the office of Sen. Chris Murphy.
