Since Fall 2020 Tamara Grdzelidze has been teaching at Ilia State University in the department of Religious Studies as well as in Political Science. She worked at the World Council of Churches, Geneva, Switzerland (2001-2013) as an Orthodox theologian; then was Ambassador of Georgia to the Holy See (2014-2018); was a visiting fellow at the University of Toronto, and Cyrus Vans visiting professor at Mount Holyoke College (Spring 2020). She has written on the Orthodox Church of Georgia, Orthodox Theology, Ecumenism.
