Vincent Bohlinger is the Mary Tucker Thorp College Professor and Director of Film Studies at Rhode Island College. He is currently working on a book examining film style in the Soviet Union from the late 1920s to mid-1930s. He coedited the “Focus on Ukraine” (July 2022) and “Contemporary Ukrainian Documentary” (July 2023) issues of KinoKultura. His research and teaching has been supported by grants from the Fulbright-Hays, Social Science Research Council, Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars, National Endowment for the Humanities, National Council for Eurasian and East European Research, and Television Academy Foundation.
