In the aftermath of Russia’s war against Ukraine and the consequent reshaping of energy flows, Gazprom has deepened its presence in Central Asia through pipeline projects, supply agreements, and strategic partnerships. The panel will discuss the evolving role of Russia’s flagship energy company within the broader context of Russia’s relations with Central Asian states, regional energy security and cooperation, and the prospects of an energy transition.
