Hear iconic Georgian music reimagined at this spring concert. Giorgi Mikadze will present famous beautiful melodies arranged for his jazz trio, all drawn from from Georgian films, cartoons and theatrical music composed in the 20th century by Giya Kancheli, Nodar Gabunia, Sulkhan Tsintsadze, Revaz Laghidze, Shota Milorava, Bidzina Kvernadze, Djansug Kakhidze and so on.
The performance will feature Isaac Coyle on Bass and Henry Plumb on Drums.
