The Davis Center for Russian and Eurasian Studies at Harvard University (Cambridge, MA) will host the international roundtable "National and Global AI Governance: Perspectives from the U.S. and Kazakhstan." This event is organized in collaboration with the Institute of Digital Engineering and Technology at Satbayev University (Almaty, Kazakhstan) and the School of Law and Public Policy at Narxoz University (Almaty, Kazakhstan). 

Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance is rapidly emerging as one of the most pressing policy issues worldwide, with implications for economic growth, international cooperation, and global security. This event recognizes the importance of shared knowledge and international collaboration and aims to foster dialogue between leading experts from the United States and Kazakhstan. It aligns with commitments made at the UN Future Summit and within the Global Digital Compact.
