Sayasat Nurbek

H.E. Sayasat Nurbek is the minister of science and higher education of Kazakhstan. Prior to this ministerial appointment in 2022, he held management positions at the Institute for Public Policy, Academy of Public Administration, and the Executive Office of the President. He founded a number of milestone education projects in the region, including Ecole 42 Partner School, First National Public Policy School, National Skills Foresight, and National School of Public Policy. Mr. Nurbek is the former CEO of an educational technology company – BTS Education. He speaks Kazakh, Russian, English, Turkish, Italian, Spanish, and Japanese.
